Benign Girl!
Received this mail from Brett of Shit That I Think About. I must say, I don’t share his loathing of Benign Girl. Perhaps because I love totally ugly Chinese kitsch. But it’s ugly enough to feature here.

“Children’s toys are generally hideously colourful and garish. But this takes it to a new level. The word benign to me, brings up the word tumour or mole. I looked it up in the dictionary and lo and behold it also means gentle. Frankly I don’t care, my friends 3 year old daughter had this in her collection of ‘cds’.
“It’s important to teach your kids not to discriminate against people who have Cancer… BUT WHAT?!?!? Chinglish at its best (is that un-pc?)
